Theme: Christmas Traditions

We've all been working hard on our Science study of Animals. The children have learned the six classes of animals and their characteristics ( mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, insects, and amphibians). We will continue reading about and writting about our favorite animals until mid January. Please continue to work on writting uppercase and lowercase letters, phonics skills, sight words and numbers to 12.

Christmas Vacation:
Wednesday December 20th will be our last day of Enrichment. Classes will resume January 8th, 2007.

Supplies Needed:
We are in need of glue sticks. Please bring in a package as soon as possible. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Classroom Helpers:
If you would like to help out in the afternoon please contact me. We would love to have you join us and help us in our many activities.

Throughout the month we will focus on Advent and Christmas traditions. We will also continue our study of Animals. The children are really enjoying this topic and learning a lot. We will work on this topic for several weeks.
